DayZ and Arma developer Bohemia Interactive has acquired a minority stake in Polish studio Enjoy Studio.

Enjoy is the company behind Everwind, a sandbox survival RPG that has sold over 300,000 copies within six months of launching into early access. Bohemia published the title and will now become the co-owner of a team it has been working with since 2024.

The value of the deal has not been disclosed, but Bohemia noted the move represents its first investment in a Polish video game company.

"We have known Enjoy Studio closely for two years, and what convinced us most were the people behind it. We share a similar approach to making games and communicating with players," said Marek Španěl, co-founder and CEO of Bohemia Interactive.

"Everwind has shown what this team is capable of, but this investment is not about a single game. It is an expression of our confidence in the talent of the entire studio and a step toward a closer, long-term partnership. We want to make the best games we can together and bring them to as many players as possible."

The partnership between Bohemia and Enjoy Studio began when the latter entered the Bohemia Incubator program in 2024. Through the incubator, Bohemia supports publishing teams and projects as a consultant and publisher.

Bohemia explained that initial partnership evolved into a "close collaboration" and noted the investment is not a bet on a single game, but rather an vote of confidence in an "exceptionally talented team."

Enjoy CEO Michał Baraniak said the deal will provide a solid foundation for future growth.
