Evoplay launches Honey Royale with bee-themed collector mechanic

The Queen Bee acts as a locked wild and central collector across the base game and Free Spins, driving jackpot and cash prize collection on every feature trigger.

Collector mechanics anchored to a single fixed reel position have become a defining feature of Evoplay’s 2026 slot output, following titles such as Golden Fish Collector in August. Evoplay launched Honey Royale, a 5×3 bee-themed slot with jackpot features and a Queen Bee Collector, on 3 September 2026.

Queen Bee Collector and jackpot structure

Collector mechanics anchored to jackpot prize tiers have featured prominently across Evoplay’s 2026 release slate. Honey Royale follows that pattern on a 5×3 grid, placing the Queen Bee exclusively in the centre position of the third reel, where she acts as a wild and substitutes for all symbols except Cash and Jackpot.

When the Queen Bee lands alongside a Cash or Jackpot symbol, the Unlock & Win feature activates, collecting and awarding all displayed prizes on the reels simultaneously. Two additional features extend this mechanic: Queen Bee Spin guarantees the Queen Bee’s appearance on the third reel while randomly adding Cash and Jackpot prizes, and Jackpot Rewind adjusts one or more reel positions to reveal further prizes. A third variant, Queen Bee Rewind, reverses the centre position of the third reel to expose the Queen Bee when she has not landed organically, creating another path to triggering Unlock & Win.

Free Spins: Locked wild and retrigger potential

Free Spins are entered when the Queen Bee activates one or both Honey Pots on the reels: one Honey Pot awards six Free Spins, two award twelve. During the feature, the Queen Bee remains fixed in the centre position of the third reel for its entirety, functioning as a persistent locked wild. Queen Bee Spin and Jackpot Rewind occur more frequently in this mode, and the Honey Pots can trigger again to add further spins. Cash and Jackpot symbols landing during Free Spins are collected through Unlock & Win as the feature progresses.

Players can increase their chances of reaching Free Spins through Booster and Super Booster options, or purchase six or twelve Free Spins directly via the game’s buy feature, a mechanic that has become standard across Evoplay’s bonus-buy catalogue in 2026.
