Gears of War: E-Day final system requirements revealed

Gears of War: E-Day has gone gold, making it ready for release - and now the final system requirements have been revealed.

From September 29th you'll also be able to pre-load it, and players on the Premium Edition get access to play from October 1st, with it releasing properly October 6th.

Speaking about the new specifications they said: "Since our Multiplayer Open Beta in July, we’ve continued to iterate and improve PC stability and performance across a wide range of hardware configurations. Today, were excited to share our final PC Specifications for Launch". You can see them below:

Going by that, it seems it should work across quite a variety of systems.

The PC version has plenty of interesting tech in it including HDR10 and hardware ray-traced lighting, reflections, and shadows. Along with NVIDIA DLSS 4.5, AMD FSR "Redstone", optional Frame Generation and Multi Frame Generation on supported hardware, Variable Rate Shading, and a built-in benchmark mode.

On the Steam page they also said it is "Fully optimized for handheld play on Steam Deck, Xbox Ally X, and Xbox Ally devices" which is excellent to see. With that in mind - it should run well on the Steam Machine too!
