The Vermilion Mask Unveils Special Halloween Image

The TV anime The Vermilion Mask revealed today a newly drawn Halloween illustration by Nabana Naba, the artist behind the original manga, just in time for Halloween.

The series premiered on October 10 and airs every Saturday at 2:30AM Pacific Time on Crunchyroll.

Peru sits cross-legged and flashing a peace sign atop a giant jack-o’-lantern glowing from within, alongside the words, “Happy Halloween!!” His mischievous, boyish grin portrays an innocence not seen in the main story. The jack-o’-lantern Peru is sitting on bears a “K” and a facial expression reminiscent of Kero. Naba has also added handwritten lettering, making this a playful illustration that lets fans picture the heartwarming back-and-forth between the two.
